I have to say I am excited about this venture however “trendy” it may seem, but it seems like a good way to journal and express my thoughts.

What you will find here will be a variety of topics, mostly focused on religion, with a good dose of politics and sports, and hopefully a good bit of humor.

Explanation of the title.
According to the Bible, ( Eph 5:23, 25-29, I Cor 11:3, I Samuel 3:11-14, I Samuel 8, Titus 1:6, Eph 6:4, Genesis 3:9, 17), a man is called to be the head of his household. God will hold him accountable for what happens to his family. If this role is placed upon the man, then why is it that so many men relinquish that role to the woman?

Now, I am not talking about the “running” of the house like cleaning, cooking, or taking care of the kids. I am talking about leading, true, Biblically based, leading the family in the direction that it should go.

Men, do you sometimes wonder why she nags at you? Do you wonder why ya’ll fight more often than not? Do you wonder why you get overly frustrated when she interrupts your tv viewing leading to yet another fight? It’s because you are being lazy instead of being a leader. Believe it or not, a woman actually wants you to lead, she desires it. In fact she is “hard-wired” for it.

In the weeks that follow, I will be working on getting this whole thing up and running properly. I will have a number of links to places that are also concerned about Biblical leadership, as well as some about family teachings and the Christian walk. I hope you will keep up with my blog and together we can journey along this path towards Biblical manhood.
