Legalizing Drug Addictions

My wife and I just ran across a rather interesting article. Apparently, San Fransisco is actually considering opening up legalized injection rooms. Yup, that's what I said.

According to the article, these rooms will be safe havens for users who want to shoot up heroin, cocaine, and other recreational drugs. Nurses will be on hand to suppervise in an attempt to cut down on overdoses.

I should probably change the title of my blog for now because I have to say it again...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!

We might as well legalize all recreational drugs if we are going to do this. I mean seriously, if something is illegal to do, then what makes it ok to do just because you have "supervision". It just doesn't make sense. Not to mention, the governmental problems this creates - how will this be paid for.

The supervising nurses will need to be paid for their services, not to mention the building and maintaining of these facilities. Do you really think insurance companies will pay for this? (Sadly, maybe one day they actually will.) But, nope, your tax dollars will be allocated to take care of these druggies. I know that I do not want my hard earned tax paying dollars to fund the support of dope heads. To a certain extent, if they are so consumed with those evils, then let tham overdose. That way my tax dollars will not have to support them during their recovery in the hospital. (DISCLAIMER: I do not wish death upon anyone. This is said along the lines of when God "gave them over to their lustful desires".)

Men, make your voices heard and make sure your local representatives do not let this sort of thing happen here in America.
