For years I have held a scrutinizing eye toward the "seeker service" movement. I have consistently maintained the falacy of bringing "the world" into the church in order to "hook" someone. I have always held to the notion that what is being preached is not a true, real gospel, but more of a "country club" mentality.
I ran across an article at http://www.ntrf.org/ that seems to lend some new light on this particular topic. The article talks about the "mistake" of the "seeker service" movement from the head guru himself, Bill Hybels.
